Obsession
Passable is pleased to announce “Obsession,” a provocative exhibition exploring the darker, more complex side of love and romance. Opening on February 13th, “Obsession” challenges traditional, saccharine Valentine’s Day imagery, esplores the shadowy corners of desire with themes of lust, seduction, obsession, possession, and domination.
Curated by Nichol Devoy, the exhibition features a diverse range of artistic mediums, including painting, intaglio, photography, and mixed media, promising a thought-provoking and unforgettable experience. Featured artists include Victoria Luna, Lily Landi, Rey Hauser, Sepia Katsoolis, and Nora Allen, each offering unique perspectives on the intoxicating and sometimes destructive power of love.
The opening reception will be held on February 13th at 5 PM – 10 PM at Passable 1005 Union. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with the artists and explore the exhibition’s challenging themes. The evening will culminate in a special performance by Genuine Porcelain.
